Hey, there we go.  I didn't expect my spam filter to snag the e-mails from here but it did.  Got it fixed though. Cool

The new style should be pretty cool.  I'll have to give posting a new topic a wirl this weekend 'cause I'm going wheeling with some friends from down here.  Question though, is the gallery still intact or is that getting completely revamped as well?

Welcome Mr Rich!

Glad you joined us!  You can update your password in the profile settings.  The default password is rather unmanageable.

Take pictures or video of your trip.  We'd love to hear about it.   Maybe you can post a short trip article.  I'm planning to create a page for anyone to submit articles and reviews on.

I haven't decided what to do with the gallery.  I'll look into adding a gallery mod…  Would you like a gallery?

I would like the option, or atleast to get a copy of the pictures for my own collection.  I don't have any pictures of my old Rodeo on my computer. Cry  But like I said I do like the option.  Though if it is gonna take up too much space, there are plenty of free picture hosts that people can use too.

I have all the pictures downloaded to my computer.  Be sure to grab them when you come into town.  Or maybe I could mail them to you.

The main issue with the gallery was spam bots.  It also doesn't integrate into this blog style site.  I'll check into other options.

Rich & Jason – Would you like to be moderators for the forum?  Basically just checking in every day and editing posts if need be.

I'm game for being a moderator.  I visit the site enough! MrGreen

I haven't gotten any emails when new articles are posted but I subscribed to the blog through my google reader.  I do get the blog posts in my reader.  Cool stuff.  The pictures on top look great too.

Ditto on the pictures.  I also don't get e-mail when there are updates but that's probably just something in the settings that I gotta click.  Also I am willing to be a mod.  I check almost everyday.

I'll make sure that I snag a copy of the pictures and stuff when I am in town.  Like I said if the gallery is going to be a problem, which it sounds like it is, then it's not really worth the extra effort.  Unless maybe space for just a select few like mods or whatever.  Either way there are other places to host pics so it's not a big deal. Cool

is there any way to set up the forum to be used with a mobile phone?  I have a full web capable phone that I use at home and I can view the site, but for some reason I can't post replys.  When I click on “reply to post” the form where you enter your text never shows up.  Any ideas?

Wow!  This is different.  Looks great Peter!   You guys may remember me as the wheeler formerly known as Megawatt Wink.    I've been lurking on the old Gitout off and on to see what you guys are up to, but this is my first visit to the new site.  It's definitely different!

Hey Rich!

I'll check that out.  It may be set to a different time zone…. (should be correct now)

Jeremy!!!  How's life?  Are you still 4wheeling?  We're talking about doing a trip into Washington next month.  Reiter Pit, Evan's Creek or Naches…..

Life's good!  Although I won't be wheeling for a bit.  I'm just starting on a new project, a '93 Wrangler.  I just sold the XJ last week, but I'm keeping the axles for the YJ.  I did get a couple pictures of me and the XJ in JP magazine this month from my Moab trip last year. It's pretty cool to see a picture of your rig in print!

So enough off topic stuff….

This place looks great.  Good job!

Wrangler?  Why the change?  Too many mods to the XJ huh?  That's awesome you got into the JP Magazine!

You should come 4wheel with us.  Stock is fine.  Just put on some tires.  I've had more fun 4wheeling stock rigs than built ones; it increases your driving abilities too.  MrGreen
